We’re seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to support upcoming projects in Evansville, Indiana, providing advanced scheduling expertise and leadership across the project team.
 

The Senior Scheduler plays a critical role in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules, from preconstruction through closeout. This position works closely with project leadership, field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate planning, proactive risk identification, and data‑driven decision‑making that supports successful project delivery.
 

Key Responsibilities

Schedule Development & Analysis

  • Lead creation and maintenance of detailed project schedules in Primavera P6.
  • Prepare baseline schedules, narratives, and logic diagrams.
  • Perform variance, float, critical path, and delay analyses to support planning and reporting.
  • Provide accurate schedule forecasts aligned with cost and manpower projections.

Planning & Coordination

  • Facilitate schedule workshops with project teams and trade partners.
  • Support preconstruction planning efforts, including milestone development and phasing strategies.
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure accurate activity sequencing and realistic durations.
  • Evaluate subcontractor schedules for alignment and compliance.

Change & Risk Management

  • Drive schedule-related change management for scope shifts and unforeseen conditions.
  • Develop and incorporate fragnets; support Time Impact Analysis (TIA) preparation.
  • Identify risk factors early and communicate impacts to project leadership.

Reporting & Communication

  • Produce weekly/monthly schedule updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare owner-facing schedule reports and participate in progress meetings.
  • Clearly communicate schedule status, challenges, and mitigation strategies.

Mentorship & Team Support

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior scheduling team members.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and estimators to ensure consistency in planning methodologies.
  • Support continuous improvement in scheduling processes and standards.

Qualifications

  • 6–8+ years of scheduling experience in the construction industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 Professional.
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
  • Ability to prepare and communicate complex schedule data effectively.
  • Familiarity with MS Office; experience with Bluebeam, Prolog, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage workload independently.
  • Experience with design‑build or fast‑track project environments preferred.
