POSITION SUMMARY
Barton Malow Company is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to join our team on a mission critical, hyperscale data center project near Philadelphia, PA. This role involves planning, developing, coordinating, supervising and monitoring onsite construction engineering activities. The Sr. Project Engineer acts as a liaison with architects, engineers and owners regarding project progress and changes, ensuring seamless communication and execution.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical support for resolution and tracking of project issues.
• Manage all project document control.
• Process submittals and RFIs.
• Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of bidders.
• Maintain the project schedule.
• Prepare and issue meeting minutes.
• Assist with planning and managing site logistics.
• Enforce corporate safety policies on the jobsite.
• Receive, review and evaluate contractor quotations for changes, and process change orders.
• Manage the plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• 4-year engineering, construction management or related degree.
• 2+ years of documented mission critical experience on hyperscale data center projects, from inception to completion.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience or related construction internship experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented and self-directed in problem-solving.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to safety.
