POSITION SUMMARY

The Creative Specialist supports Barton Malow’s visual identity by creating graphics, photography, and video content for a variety of communication needs. This role contributes to creative strategies and initiatives by developing high-quality visual assets, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with team members across the organization. A successful Creative Specialist is detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate clearly while delivering consistent, on-brand work.

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Design and produce high-quality graphics for internal and external channels, including social media, digital ads, promotional materials, and other visual formats.
  • Assist in maintaining and evolving Barton Malow’s brand standards and style across all visual communications.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously with strong organization from concept to asset delivery.
  • Capture photography and video content, in addition to visiting jobsites as needed to document project milestones.
  • Support event production through the creation of event graphics, signage, and supporting materials that enhance the overall event experience and brand consistency.
  • Collaborate across the MarCom team on various initiatives, strategic planning items, and client-related creative requests.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 

  • 2-4 years of graphic design, marketing or other creative/related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree with focus in design, communications, digital art direction, advertising, or related field.
  • Aplicants will be required to submit a portfolio or work samples demonstrating relevant experience
  • Proficient with Mac OS
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • Proficiency in Lightroom and Premiere Pro is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent time management
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to communicate creative ideas visually, verbally, and in writing
  • Photography/Videography skills is a plus
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize workload
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • AEC Industry knowledge is a plus

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT/JOB CONDITIONS: 

  • Travel for project assignments may be required based on Company needs.
