Promote and enforce a safe work environment and safe work practices for all trades and the overall construction site. Supervise and coordinate various trades work to ensure safety, quality and production fulfilled on the project, in accordance with plans and specifications, while ensuring a professional manor for the company and or owner.Position is considered a Foreman, with an expectation of significant past field leadership experience. The Foreman receives active guidance from Superintendent or General Foreman to complete and prioritize tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise concrete/civil carpenter and laborer crews to ensure safe, high‑quality, and productive work in accordance with plans and specifications
- Enforce jobsite safety requirements, including leading stretch and flex and completing daily JHAs/PODs
- Plan and execute daily work activities; assign tasks and start crews efficiently and on time
- Monitor work quality, progress, and productivity; minimize rework and support punch list completion
- Track crew manpower, equipment, and materials with awareness of crew‑level cost impacts
- Communicate daily progress, challenges, and needs to the Superintendent and support project planning efforts
- Train and mentor developing crew members and emerging field leaders
Experience
- Typically 3+ years of construction experience with hands‑on trade expertise and crew leadership
