
POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Manager/Business Partner is responsible for partnership with assigned Group stakeholders to deliver day-to-day HR services as the primary representative and in partnership with HR Shared Services COE's. This individual will also drive initiatives that support business objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and enhance organizational effectiveness for their area of operation. Serves as a trusted advisor and consultant to their leaders, ensuring alignment between enterprise people strategies and business goals.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and team members, providing insights and recommendations on HR-related matters.
- Support team member HR lifecycle processes including but not limited to onboarding, engagement, talent management and performance management.
- Support the annual and mid-year compensation processes with assigned stakeholders/group.
- Provide guidance, support and resolution on complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, addressing employee concerns and promoting open communication.
- Utilize HR analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a Manager level or HRBP equivalent role.
- Experience working in construction or a related industry is highly desirable.
- Experience working with senior level internal stakeholders and executives
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- HR Certification (e.g. SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
