POSITION SUMMARY

Barton Malow’s Human Resources function is growing and currently hiring for a Manager within the Talent Acquisition team. This individual will play a key role in our overall Talent Management processes related to talent acquisition, onboarding, college recruiting and project staffing of construction delivery professionals. This individual will lead the recruitment team, systems and processes for Talent Acquistion efforts across the enterprise and is a hands-on Manager role that includes full-cycle recruiting responsibilities for priority roles.

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Owns tools, vendor relatonships and processes to ensure that the Talent Acquisition team members are successfully sourcing, selecting and onboarding the right talent in accordance with the dynamic needs of the organization.
  • Supervises and prioritizes the workload of the team to ensure delivery of a best-in-industry recruitment experience for new team members consistent with the Barton Malow brand.
  • Leads vendor management of partner organizations, staffing agencies, headhunters, job boards and others T/A resources.
  • Serves as the face of Barton Malow’s employee referral bonus program, solicits candidates through strategic communications, administers the policy and ensures resolution of discrepancies.
  • Leads compliance, process development, and training of our ATS to ensure consistent utilization within the Human Resources function and across the organization for internal customers.  
  • Audits ATS and mines internal data to analyze Talent Acquisition trends to continuously develop new sourcing strategies, keeps pulse on construction industry and broader T/A trends.
  • Coordinates integration with internal partners including Engagement, DEI, Systems, Payroll and other key stakeholders throughout the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding workstreams.
  • Champions college recruiting efforts in partnership with HRBP colleagues, alumni and other key internal stakeholders.
  • Authors templates, tools, documentation and notifications for Talent Acquisition activities.
  • Identifies and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 

  • 8+ years of Talent Acquisition experience in a corporate recruiting or agency environment, including supervisory and direct management experience of leading teams.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to network, sell opportunity and play matchmaker at various levels of an organization.
  • Construction, Engineering, Automotive or other relevant industry T/A experience
  • Occasional short-term travel to Barton Malow offices and events required
