POSITION SUMMARY

 

Barton Malow Holdings is seeking an SAP Support Analyst position that will be a part of the SAP solutions team, who is responsible for SAP production support and ongoing development. The role will have responsibilities focused on FI/CO but will also serve as backup support in all areas. There can also be requirements to support non-SAP systems that interface with SAP.


KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partners with business owners to perform process analysis, gather business requirements, documents enhancement specifications, and prioritize tasks/projects.
  • Provides support for Barton Malow’s SAP systems, including custom functionality, and releases/upgrades, while coordinating efforts with our SAP solutions team.
  • Performs SAP configuration tasks, as required by new or changing business requirements.
  • Collaborates with SAP Developers and other SAP Systems Analysts to debug system issues and help deliver custom development and enhancements.
  • Conducts and coordinates unit, integration and user acceptance tests for SAP functionality; Develops test plans and test cases, stages test data, and documents test results.
  • Partners with business owners to curate and deliver ad hoc reports, complex reports, and analytics taking advantage of current options and learning new/emerging technology to support business requirements, audits, etc.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of relevant SAP modules, specifically FI/CO.
  • 2+ years of experience working (or specialized educational program) as a technical analyst with SAP (or another ERP system) is required. Ideally, this includes process design, hands-on configuration, system testing, and post implementation support.
  • Enthusiasm and desire to promote systems group philosophy and culture.
  • Excellent communications skills - written, oral, and listening
  • Proven experience planning, writing, and executing test plans.
  • Keen analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, or a related discipline.
  • Construction industry knowledge is very beneficial.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytic tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerBI, SAP Business Objects, etc. is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP security is preferred.
