POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Project Manager 1 plays a pivotal role in delivering enterprise-level technical initiatives, overseeing the full project lifecycle from initiation through closure. With a primary focus on technical and digital transformation projects, this position ensures that project objectives are met with efficiency, transparency, and strategic alignment to organizational goals. The Project Manager 1 drives collaboration across cross-functional teams, champions adoption of project management best practices, and maintains rigorous project documentation. As an administrative support for project management platforms such as Jira and Monday.com, this role ensures project visibility, workflow optimization, and data integrity.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for enterprise technical initiatives of low to medium complexity, ensuring the achievement of project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Administer and optimize project management platforms, including Jira and Monday.com, configuring workflows, managing user permissions, and ensuring data accuracy and reporting integrity.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication among project stakeholders, team members, and subject matter experts to drive alignment and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain and continually enhance PMO documentation, process standards, and knowledge repositories, integrating feedback and best practices from ongoing project experience.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks within assigned scope, escalating more complex risks to the PMO Manager 2 and Sr. Project Manager as appropriate.
- Monitor project progress through metrics and dashboards, providing transparent updates and actionable insights to leadership and project sponsors.
- Contribute to the advancement of project management methodology by recommending process improvements and supporting change initiatives across the PMO.
