POSITION SUMMARY
The role of the Prefabrication Manager is to contribute innovative, integrated, and practical prefabrication solutions that enable Barton Malow and its subcontractor partners to accelerate project timelines. This position requires a balance of innovative thinking and field execution knowledge. Prefab Managers will work with internal project teams, subject matter experts, subcontractors and others to advance prefab adoption through project evaluation & execution, advocacy, and partnership.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*:
- Evaluate projects in pursuit phase and/or preconstruction planning for prefab feasibility. Collaborate with project leaders to develop project prefab execution plans.
- Coordinate between trades, creating multidisciplinary prefab solutions.
- Support prefab adoption and onboarding within Barton Malow’s subcontractor community.
- Work with external design teams to integrate prefab best practices.
- Partner with internal SMEs to develop and document best practices.
- Participate in internal knowledge sharing, in the spirit of continuous improvement.
- Track prefabrication metrics to monitor adoption
- Maintain enterprise prefabrication process documentation. Enhance the process where possible.
- Participate in Barton Malow’s Prefabrication Community to drive adoption and push prefabrication boundaries on our projects through learning.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

- Constructability expertise
- Expert interpreting drawings and specifications, translating design intent to prefab solutions
- BIM experience is a plus
- Project Management experience a plus
