The Project Coordinator position is considered entry level job support, without an expectation of past engineering experience.  This position receives active guidance from the Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager to complete and prioritize tasks.  The Project Coordinator provides technical support and documents information for record keeping and use during the project.  The Project Coordinator must be a flexible and adaptable team-player, as well as have strong communication and client service skills.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processes and tracks status of submittals
  • Tracks and distributes RFIs
  • Maintains, distributes and archives project documentation, including jobsite correspondence.
  • Manages and updates drawings and specifications, including drawing logs
  • Attends project meetings and records meeting minutes
  • Establishes project filing system and folder structure
  • Assists in preparation of bid packages
  • Review plans and other technical documents
  • General administrative duties, as determined by the project team

JOB SPECIFICATIONS (*Essential Requirements):

  • Five+ years’ Administrative experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field preferred
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office skills, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer*
  • Basic skills in Bluebeam, Prolog, Box, SAP
  • Basic ability to read drawings and specifications*
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
  • Basic math/accounting skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all members of the team.*
  • Effective time management, organization skills and attention to detail*
  • Ability to identify, track, and complete work tasks in a timely manner
