POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Business Strategy Manager is responsible for achieving fee sale goals of the team charged with developing, identifying, qualifying, and pursuing client opportunities for Barton Malow Builders.

 

Reports to:          Director, Business Strategy

Geography:         Tampa and Targeted opportunities

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages pursuit teams including office leadership, operations, planning, and marketing
  • Leads both the internal team and prospect through the pursuit process
  • Sets and leads the pursuit direction
  • Creates and maintains momentum during the pursuit process
  • Controls the sales process from beginning to end
  • Develops and manages capture plans for pursuits
  • Implements key initiatives and goals for Business Strategy team
  • Supports national market strategy leaders in Higher Education, Healthcare and Sports
  • Drives investigation, market research and preparation of reports and presentations
  • Creates plans aligned with marketing to gain market exposure with strategic clients
  • Development of 3 year office business model / plan sales
  • Execution of business model / plan sales

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum of six years’ experience in CRE and/or AEC
  • Demonstrated experience with business development and sales strategy execution
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM opportunity tracking software
